A DATA GLOSSARY FOR ALL PROFESSIONALS
All of your data terms and definitions in one, accessible place.
EQUIP YOUR TEAM TO HELP THEM SUCCEED.
Empower your team to understand your data visualization by giving them a data glossary that contains the terms and definitions that describes the source data.
The data that supports your Nucleus visualizations generally come from the sources systems as acronyms, truncated terms, or technical jargon. We work to describe it during data governance to make it understandable to everyone. But where should we put this valuable information?
To ensure the accessibility and understanding of the visualizations for everyone in your organization, the Nucleus team has added a data glossary tab to each card. Here you can place the terms and their definitions and make the information available at your finger tips.
USING THE DATA GLOSSARY IS EASY
Hover your cursor over the bottom right corner
Click the book icon that appears in the tab to access the data glossary.
Glossary Terms
The terms in the glossary for each card are specific to each card – it is context sensitive! You will only see relevant terms in the glossary pop-up window.
MAINTAINING THE DATA GLOSSARY IS EASY
Your organization can easily define and update the terms in your glossary at any time. Simply specify who on the team has the security access and let them start.
Also, if we have created a set of terms during data governance, we’ll load those values into the glossary during implementation. Make the data more accessible to your team so they can make accurate data driven decisions.
